Product Updates:
We've made a number of additional changes this month focusing on making it
easier for agents to use the web site, plus a number of general usability
improvements which have been requested by users.
New -
Statements
You can now produce a statement listing the detailed transactions during a date
period. This is perfect for:
-
Reconciling transactions against a bank statement
-
Producing statements for clients if you are acting as a
management agent
-
Exporting transactional information into Excel
Statements can be accessed from
the Finances page.
New -
Recording management fees along with income records
When recording income, you can now
record a management fee along with it.
This helps agents record management fees
for rent collected on behalf of their
clients and also helps landlords easily
record management fees deducted by an
agent from their rental income. To
support this new feature, you can now
record the managing agent and their fee
basis against portfolios or property
units.
New -
Recording recurring expenditure records
You can now set up recurring
expenditure and have
the system record them for
you automatically on a set schedule.
This makes it much easier to manage the
administration of regular expenditure
items such as interest payments, council
tax, etc.
New - Additional Improvements
A number of other improvements which have been requested by users have been implemented
with this update:
-
An income transaction now has a reporting date as well as an actual
date. The reporting date can be used to affect where the income transaction
appears on tenancy balances and statements.
-
The list of tenancies on the home page has been extended to show
the balance for each tenancy, plus the total arrears for all tenancies that are
in arrears.
- You can now record contact numbers for tenancies.
